It is a crime to lie to the police but it is not a crime to not answer their questions. As law-abiding citizens, though, we should cooperate when warranted. You then can be subpoenaed to testify in court where, on the stand, you can either answer the question(s) or take the Fifth. But don't lie on the witness stand unless it's worth doing the jail time. It's your call on this one.
Lying to police: 1 year. Lying on the witness stand, perjury: 5 years. (Check your state laws).
Several Dumbocrats want to introduce a new bill, “Stop Gun Trafficking and Strengthen Law Enforcement Act.” To borrow from a reader, "the federal government is using federal agencies to break federal laws so that same federal government can impose more federal laws on the people that did not break the law". What! (If anyone knows the author please let me know so I can give him proper credit). This is a gem.
Letter I sent to one of my Senators re. National Defense Authorization Act, in part, that states the government may detain, without charges or trial, American citizens. I suggest every Warrior send this or your own similar thought to all your Senators and Congressmen. Although he does not agree with the provision of the first sentence, in quotes, he still voted for it. He's also Jewish which makes it even sadder.
"I am still deeply troubled by the grave civil liberties implications of the detainee provisions," You elected officials do realize, I hope, that Patriots will not allow government agents to unlawfully or unconstitutionally detain us. An unlawful apprehension for detention purposes is called Kidnapping which may be resisted with deadly physical force. If the law-abiding citizen, after the confrontation, is arrested then it will be the duty for any Patriot on the jury to Nullify said jury based on the power that the people/jury have under Jury Nullification. What makes it OK to vote for a bill then say, "I will continue to seek modifications to address civil liberties concerns raised regarding several detainee provisions." Aren't the detainee provisions now law and will remain until you do somethhing about it? We Patriots are sworn to do something about it if that part of the law is applied. Isn't it like Polesi saying, "if you want to find out what is in the bill (Obama care) then pass it." Shouldn't elected officials know what they are voting for? And if they disagree with any part of the bill, not vote for it?
How about introducing a bill that says that Congress members must read a bill before they can vote on it.
Be well aware, and you may share with your fellow Senators, that there is a strong possibility that any attempt at detention will be meet with deadly physical force. Patriots will not go quietly into the night. History is a sad thing to forget as then it will repeat itself - Nazi Germany. At least the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising allowed those Jews to die on their feet instead of living on their knees like so many others, and eventually being killed anyways. Those are my heroes, not the cowards of today. How can such a concept and terminology even come into the mind(s) of free men?
One way to beat this new law is if any of you get arrested always plead Not Guilty. All NY gun owners should accept your call for Jury Duty. Then they will hopefully be a Patriot on all the juries that have to try unconstitutional laws and that Patriot can Nullify the Jury by voting Not Guilty. If the state can never get a conviction then they will stop arresting for these unconstitutional laws. When found not guilty then everyone acquitted should sue the state for the unlawful arrest.
A state gun group should start a fund now for the defense of anyone arrested under these new unconstitutional law(s).
Go to: www.fija.org to study Jury Nullification. Do it now. If the judge or prosecutor tells you that Jury Nullification is illegal he is telling you a lie. This is a power we citizens have had for 400+ years.
New Hampshire just passed a law allowing the defense attorney to advise the jury about Jury Nullification. If it's illegal then NH would not have been able to pass such a law.
Hang in there. illegitimi non carborundum.
